Chance Governs All

I think this dictionary definition pretty much sums up life with Chance.

 Chance - definition 1- the absence of any cause of events that can be predicted, understood, or controlled: often personified or treated as a positive agency: Chance governs all.

I few weeks ago as I was cleaning Chance's room and picking up those things that are unique to him, I thought, I need pictures!  Not everyone gets to see this side of Chance. 

Paper, Paper, and more Paper

He likes to make paper airplanes.   He recently got a book from the library and he tried his hand at a number of those.  The cylinder one is an airplane and with the right touch it has a unique flying pattern.

These are paper boats.  This I am sure is just a drop in the bucket of how many he really made.  He went through of spurt of making these over and over. 

I think this is a result of the Mind Institute at school.   I did show him some notes on the piano also-- so it could be a combination of both.  He was working on this in his room.

Hummm-- almost all his weapons fit in here.  Do not worry, the air soft gun and bow & arrow we keep under his pillow!   On the right in the back with the red tip is a dart blower-- blows nerf bullets,  pretty cool.   

Chance bought this cute bug catcher with his own money.  He came home all excited to open the box.  Finally got it out of its impossible packaging and put it on.   It did not fit around his waist!  He was so disappointed.  That company deserved a few of my words- the darn thing has just an inch of adaptability- how dare they not realize that all kids are not tiny little wisps.    

So from this post you have learned a few things about Chance- making things with paper, fiddling around with music, weapons of all sorts (I will have to take a picture of the peanut shooter he invented), and catching bugs.     When you see him, ask him to do one of these things for you... he will just light up and you will be in for a real treat!
