Here is the link at the Deseret News
And this is the email my brother sent out. Coming from a small town- you know most everyone.
There was a plane crash in Blanding. Three men died in the crash: Eric Johnson, Brian Bayles, and Kim Acton. Each are leaving behind a wife and kids. This is very hard to take as Eric and Brian have young children and Kim has a son on a mission right now.
I do not know the details.
Brian graduated with Marlo's class from San Juan High and has been serving in the 6th ward bishopric for several years. He has also been very active on the Blanding City Council.
Eric is also very prominent in the community. He is also a San Juan High School graduate (between Kirk and Neilson). He is a large owner in the family business of Northern Electric. He serves on the city recreation board as chairman. He coaches little baseball and football. Eric is a pilot. His father died in a light aircraft accident several years ago while scouting for deer on Mustang Mesa east of Blanding.
Kim Acton is a local business man. Karalene worked for him at Elk Ridge Restaurant during high school. He has been serving the community in many ways. His recent business activities have been bringing and selling Sysco food products to locals.
Yes, Kim was my boss 22-25 years ago. Kind, personable, fun person to work for.
08-08-08, a day that was unlucky for my little hometown of Blanding, Utah. Thank goodness for our beliefs that life continues on. And go give those you love a hug... because you can right now!

so fun to see you on here Karalene! such a sad story - their poor families - but you are right - when they have the gospel in their lives it helps, but probably not enough just right now.
i'll ask my husband, but off the cuff - I'm thinking Thursday evening is a better night for us - we have quite a few things going on this week, just shoot me an email or call me :)
