Do you recognize this lady with me... if you do then you are a follower and you will be able to understand this post. If not... well I am just warning you...
Heather and Karalene--
Heather and my friend Lisa
Many, many people came to see Heather and have their book signed. The book signing was well organized and with no mass stampeding. Much to our delight and the line moved fast! We were the last 4 to get our books signed... so I would say that is an experienced opinion.
It was good to see Heather in person and hear her personality live...just not through words on a page. She is a delightful and beautiful person. And very tall. I wish I could of stood next her-- so I could compare our tallness.
She is pregnant with her 2nd. Lives in the 801--and her and her husband make a living off of her blog..... how, advertisments and 6 million hits in the month of Feb. She is one of the original bloggers turned Mommy blogger.
You can google for more information. Her book is about the birth of her first child... all the things she had no idea about and dealing with depression.
"It sucked and then I cried"... I can relate. I was not prepared for the whole nursing bit when Jordan was born. When my milk came in and Jordan could not latch on... I cried. I was glad my mom had come up that day and she helped me. She went and got me a breast pump to at least soften the breast so he could suck. Yes, it was not good times and no one told me that would happen. Nothing like hearing your child screaming because they are hungry and can't feed. Enough to put you over the edge.
In this book-- Heather tells all, frankly- not sugar coated and her blog and her book are not for the faint of speech or for those who pretend that life is ALWAYS grand. She is an open book-- love it or leave it.

hope the book is better than the blog... not impressed, she seems like someone who really likes to shock people with her language and attitude to the church, (there's a huge difference of telling things like they are and just being crude)sooooooo sad!!
It is what it is... I warned you.
This is what I read her for... posts like this one today.
"Foreign policy
I was just reading a news story on a celebrity gossip website about Angelina Jolie's rumored plans to adopt her next baby from India, and when I glanced down at the comments I was expecting to see the usual griping about how her family resembles a traveling circus or SHILOH IS SO CUTE! or YUCK SHE KISSED HER BROTHER WHATEVER. But the very first comment was left by a more profoundly concerned citizen of the world who asked, "WHY IS IT NEVER A MEXICAN??!!"
That comment totally made my day."
Because of her # hits per day and her connection with the LDS church... the church has bought space on her site for advertisement. I have seen them during the time that she was doing massive interviews with TV shows across the nation.
